Cricket! Come on out and play!
I am at work and resenting it. I foolishly didn't bring lunch b/c we were supposed to go out for people's birthdays, but of course half the office isn't in because of the roads (including the person who lives the closest, I will note). So my choices for lunch are a can of lentil soup or a prepackaged Indian lentil thingy. Mmm. Lentils or lentils. Not digging either one.
Well, so far it looks like b.org isn't blocked at my new work place, although it looks like it does block images it doesn't like. I didn't get to look at the spoiler T-shirt.
Hugs to peeps that things aren't going well, I hope that things start going better, soonest.
Glam, Shanie sure is a little cutiehead. I loved the Jack Benny pose! Now, to teach him to do it all the time. ::rubs hands gleefully::
Sail, good luck getting settled in at the new job!
Yay for income-generating employment, Sail!
Good luck, Sail!
Calli, I will look for that tomorrow.
Long day, I'll collapse to sleep soon (but TV before. TV and tea!). The boss of the place where I volunteer took me out to lunch today, it was very nice (she needed a break, and I knew the place and she wanted to get to know it, and I'm always feedable, though it was weird at first).
Now, my little cyber love monkeys. I have a request from the mighty y'all.
I finished asking for references to Ted Tel Aviv, but their form is tricky. I do have some ideas about what to enter there in the "if a friend will describe you..." part (Me, automatically: "You Machiavellian bitch!" - true story, said with love), but since you might know me better than a lot of other people in my life, or from what I think of myself, I thought of asking you: how would you describe me, in brief?
Will send the form tomorrow. And yes, I intend to link to b.org as "List at least one web site that will help us understand you better". If this site won't do the trick, nothing can (I'll also link to my blog, of course).
Now, my little cyber love monkeys.
I see we have progressed in our relationship.
how would you describe me, in brief?
Thoughtful. You are full of thoughts.
I see we have progressed in our relationship.
I believe that what I have in mind when thinking of little cyber love monkeys and what the world has in mind aren't the same.
But it's still funny.
And thanks! Keep 'em coming.
Edit: FTR - I ain't fishing for compliments. I just want to get that registration done with, and hope it'll be just as cool as TED conventions overseas.
