Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

'Hell Bound'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Shir's passionate eloquence for justice

Oh, so that's how it was called. For me, it's the part of me that's seeing red and can't shut up, even when it's not that recommended to talk.

Calli, it's really weird about Lectures on Islam, but I knew something was up when it took me 10 whole minutes to try and Google the title in English last night (I have the book in Hebrew, but the original is in German). It's weird because this book was published at least 80-90 years ago. I can see, from Googling the title ("Vorlesungen über den Islam"), that it got translated into several other languages, and I have no idea why this wasn't translated into English just yet. Anyhow, since there are really not a lot of Islamic scholars named Ignác (Yitzhaq Yehuda) Goldziher, I guess it's our guy. I'll be in the university tomorrow, and I'll try to see if at least there are parts of it that were translated into English.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I have been super dehydrated today. I've pretty much been sleeping for several hours, drinking a few glasses of water, and then going back to sleep. This is weird.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sometimes when there has been a lot of icky winter weather here, I get randomly dehydrated - nearest I can figure it is due to all the salt in the atmosphere from when they clear the streets.

Also, I'm not sure I'm going to finish my dissertation time to graduate in May, since the deadlines are really weird, but my mother has been talking about maybe taking a family trip to Israel to celebrate my graduation, so that sounds better than participating in the ceremony, anyway.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I must confess, I am anti-Yanni. And proud of it--you wanna make somethin' out of it?
At first I thought you meant Yoni, and was wondering how you could hate that? What? Don't look at me like that. I can't help it if it's always on my brain. Amazing it's still working (brain that is). All day headache is finally going away. Why didn't I think of caffeine earlier? :: kicks self ::

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

{waves at Cricket}

my sister's mom apparently has a dutch-dwarf doe (try saying that 5 times fast) that they are trying to breed. Jokes have been made. Especially by my 13 yo sister who giggles at anything.

And since I forgot to say it earlier: P-C, I'm in awe of the way you're handling the argument with your mom.

Do we know about [link] ?

I'm in love with the spoiler t-shirt. (See 'apparel' and 'threadless'.) (Warning: the spoiler t-shirt contains spoilers. Funny that.)
