Just tryin' a little spicy talk.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sephora's waterproof might be ideal for you and it's only $12.

Or a sampler.

Personally I like DiorShow and their waterproof is my next mascara because my eyes are the smudging queens.

Our wings are not tired.

I have no eyelash solution. I have very puffy eyelids and no mascara ever really worked for me because I rub my eyes too much. I did have them dyed once when a makeup person in my dermatologist's office wanted to practice. That was really effective since it turned my blond lashes dark. I'd do it again if I wasn't so lazy about such things.

I was beating myself up for being jugdey about it last night, thinking maybe people think a Morgan funeral is weird what with the laughing and fish fry after.

Growing up with Irish funerals leaves me convinced that laughter and drinking are the best plan.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I came here for an argument!

Sorry, this is abuse!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Instead of speaking, she said her feelings were "too powerful for words" and instead did an interpretive dance with a six-foot rainbow parrot puppet to express her loss.

If someone had decided to make it a double funeral, no jury would ever convict.

I've tried to use an eyelash curler, but my eyelashes are not only thin and paler than my hair, but also very short. I too have very oily eyelids, which means that no waterproof mascara works for me because they're designed to be taken off with oil-based products. They do look better dyed, but eyelash dyeing is outrageously expensive considering that it takes five minutes. Once upon a time, before the FDA banned it, you could get eyelash dye over the counter, which was great. I'd argue that if I never blinded myself with it, it can't be too dangerous, considering that I'm a one-person product hazard lab.

For you, Blinc's Kiss Me. It only comes off with both pressure and warm water combined.

The only time I ever had it come off unexpectedly on me was when I was cleaning my house during an allergy attack and heat wave. So there was a lot of water (sneeze tears and crazy sweating) and pressure (sneezing and rubbing my eyes) there.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Erin, is there a specific Almay mascara that you like?

I'll assume this was for me...

Near as I can tell from their website, this is the one I've been using: [link]

Herding cats for fun

OMG funeral weirdness. Too much. I'm actually a little nauseous and glad I wasn't there to freak out and smack someone with the Clue-By-4 she so desperately deserves.

I've seen a death notice with a cheesecake style photo of the decedent. I thought that was in especially poor taste because the problem had been breast cancer and she'd delayed and delayed treatment, worrying about her looks...

What Shir said: *made* my day.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

DJ, your funeral experience sounds horrific. Yes, I'll be judgey, no problem! I thought *I'd* been to some bad ones, geez. There's eccentric and there's insane.

I have yet to find the perfect mascara. I tried the Blinc and found it weirdly weird. Maybe I'll give it another try.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm making my cupcakes now. Cockeyed cake recipe (no eggs, baking soda and vinegar, it's my go to cake recipe because it's what my mother always made, and it's so easy) divided into muffin tin. If a square cake is supposed to take half an hour, the cupcakes will take, what 15-20 minutes?

ETa: 15 minutes was about right.
