Actually, I've been lurking here for a little while, but I have to admit it's Erin's wedding planning that has brought me out of the woodwork. My dress lady is a costume designer and she and her partner worked at one of the big theaters here for years. Contacting the costume departments at local theaters and colleges might be a way to find someone who could make your (awesome sounding) dress. Heck, if you could come to b'more a couple of times for fittings my ladies would be perfect for making your dress! They do custom corsetry!
