And boys -- let's watch the swearing.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I don't know if any one else will be able to recall the specific dress I mean, but that glorious turquoise silk dress at eShakti.com with the beaded collar that I was so enchanted by last spring, it's not only not in their regular stock any more, but they have taken down their archive collection, where it was still available for a while. It was a beautiful dress. Nothing they have now compares for luminosity. I wanted it, kept hoping it would still be available for if/when I had the $100+ to get it done to my measurements. It's made me sad enough to cry over it. And now Daniel thinks I'm nuts.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I don't think you're nuts, WS. I grieve for you. A glorious dress is a rare thing, and to miss out due to finances is very hard.

feh on him, though I love him dearly. And based on the gorgeous outfit that you had in Madison, that color would have looked gorgeous on you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Tep, looks like the Reds just dropped $30mil on a lefty pitcher, the Cuban defector Aroldis Chapman. He throws about 97mph.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And now Daniel thinks I'm nuts.

No, no he doesn't.

And based on the gorgeous outfit that you had in Madison, that color would have looked gorgeous on you.

Yes, it would.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Trust my rage

So I have the 90 yo great uncle who sends out a lot of anti-gay, anti-environment, anti-Obama email. For a long time I was off his list but somehow I got back on recently. This morning he sent out a super offensive anti-Obama email which I actually didn't read becaus it was from my uncle and I couldn't see anything inthe first few lines. Well, his daughter just hit reply all with a "this is a really offensive email" response and my dad just now backed up. Dare I hope he might stop sending this crap?

Sadly, the time has come for me to leave DC and my precious Vortex and head back home. I wish I could take her with me. We listened to voicemails from KBD and it's clear that he just. doesn't. get it. Claims that he does listen to me. Dude, I told you weeks ago that I DON'T LOVE YOU and you were not even fazed.

The chances of us being friends or friendly is dropping like the temperature as night falls in the desert.

So I am now going to take my own advice that I gave to P-C, and become a broken record. "I don't love you. I don't want to be in relationship with you. Nothing you can say will change that."

Hah! My sis just said if I get back with him (NOT HAPPENING) she will duct tape me to a wall like the baby on First Fail.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I love you guys. Daniel and WindSparrow and all of the people here who said nice things to me.

I'll be giving a referrat (sp?) on Asimov and post-modernism tomorrow. As in, giving Asimov as an example to uber-modern society, to which our own society is post-modern, to make people understand better (hopefully) what post-modernism is about.

Barb, best of luck with the move. The second I laid my eyes on it I could smell Seattle's air again. The first time I got off the plane, and walked my first steps on a foreign land, nobody had to tell me it's abroad: I could tell it just by the air. It smelled different.
