You know it's going to be one of those days when you park the car, brave the cold to walk the block to the new office, ride the elevator up to your desk, and discover a) your desk chair is missing, and b) you left the laptop in the car. Fun. Joy. Rapture. Oh, and that was after coming in NINETY MINUTES EARLY because there is too much shit to do today. Uggg.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Unless you bailed on a thing with them, yeah, deeply immature.
Oh, dear, Omnis. That is no fun.
I have posted 3 more things on eBay, and run out of free postings. Also, I need to go mail my secret Santa gift, and eat lunch. And trim my cat's claws, as she's kneading my leg and it really hurts. Fortunately, human fingernail clippers work.
omnis - at least you didn't leave the laptop at home?
That sucks, Aimee. This time of year can really bring out the worst in people, that's for sure.
Debet, I haven't forgotton to send you the book, I'm just slacking on that along with my Secret Santa sending.
I may or may not have dozed off briefly at my desk.
Jeeves, more caffeine!
Hey, today is the Israel mini-f2f, yes? Can't wait for pictures!
What's better than watching The Parrot Sketch? Watching The Parrot Sketch while holding a purring cat and eating chocolate.
We have achieved Israel mini-F2F.
More later. Right now, I'm a little bit sick. Managed to pull it through, but pretty much collapsed here.
Shanie had to get tested again for his jaundice today and now I'm worried he may end up back at the hospital for fluids and light therapy. Please send the ~ma that his number goes down today. Not serious, but enough to make his Mama teary.
Shane Glamcookie! You watch your bili!! Stop worrying your mamas!!
~ma to Shanie, and esp. to his moms.
I have a question. When one's account is private, can others see their website url?
Much ~ma for Shanie and number-reducing. I hope he makes a quick recovery.
We have achieved Israel mini-F2F.
We did! It was so much fun! Shir has the pictures, when she's up to posting them. Shir and Nilly are such wonderful people. We chatted for hours in this fantastic little cafe in Jerusalem, where they served us a lot of tea and some great desserts.
Shir, I hope we didn't exhaust you. (I was migraine-y, but drugged up to the eyeballs, hence just about surviving.)
Israel is a fab place, but I've only had five hours sleep in about the past 36, which is liable to make me a not-well person if I don't rectify it. Off to bed now. Much exploring tomorrow.
