We have achieved Israel mini-F2F.

We did! It was so much fun! Shir has the pictures, when she's up to posting them. Shir and Nilly are such wonderful people. We chatted for hours in this fantastic little cafe in Jerusalem, where they served us a lot of tea and some great desserts.

Shir, I hope we didn't exhaust you. (I was migraine-y, but drugged up to the eyeballs, hence just about surviving.)

Israel is a fab place, but I've only had five hours sleep in about the past 36, which is liable to make me a not-well person if I don't rectify it. Off to bed now. Much exploring tomorrow.

The plumber is here, has fixed the leak we needed help with, and now keeps finding other little things to fix. He's my favorite of our household repair people, because he won't charge us for any of these little tweaks and that lessens the pain of the bill. And he told me my baby was adorable.

F2F was very, very, very, very, very fun. I can say that The Girl and Seska are lovely people as well.

With that, I now will collapse into bed. I think that the chances for me to wake up and feel all better by 6:00am tomorrow for the first lesson are slim.

I have devolved from bored to tired and cranky, and the appointment that would have allowed me to leave 1/2 hr early has been moved to tomorrow. Also, my left shoulder hurts (sure sign of too much mousing) and I just feel funny. Crankity crank crank.

Shane, get with the program! Glam, FWIW, we had to take Liv back twice for testing for jaudice. Freaked me out, nevertheless. A friend of mine had to keep her daughter in the silver blanket thing for a week and she was very distraught. As newborn issues go, it's a pretty easy fix, though.

It is really really freakin cold today. If it wasn't for getting to see thessaly I would have never managed to get out of the house.

I mentioned in Natter that I rode my bike to work today when it was 11 degrees out. Still, I overdressed, and ended up sweaty when I got here.

Out of sheer boredom, I am reading threads in the archives. In Spike's Bitches 30, billytea and Wallybee are dating, JZ is pregnant with Halloweenie, Aims is doing homework, and Fay is in Egypt.

And meara is living in DC.
