Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

GC, I'm glad your mother is on her way!

erika, tons of health~ma and it's-nothing~ma to your mother.

I can't seem to get in touch with my nephew anywhere to wish him a happy birthday. I need to remember to call back later.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This is why I never trust clowns. Especially when they travel in groups.

Clowns hate tangelos.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah...she's made an appointment with her surgeon, who, just happens to be the one all the nurses want their moms treated by. It was totally the luck of the draw. I always meant to write him a letter but I never knew what to say. Maybe this time, I will go with "You saved my world. A lot." JZ, when my stepdad flipped out and had his...interface with the penal experience and all, he was in group with a retarded woman who tried to commit suicide by jumping from a one-story building. She saved that story for me cause she knew I'd appreciate it. I think there is a hell of a metaphor for the human condition in it, in addition to a sick laugh.ETA; My mom *is* afraid of clowns, but the clown-car thing is more about her belief that she'll die doing something klutzy or stupid as she's survived a number of things that might have taken her out more "logically", including cancer and two difficult births.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Toddlerspam - new bed + new books make Dylan a happy boy:

Aww.

I'm having this really weird sensation where I'm just suddenly really aware that I'm wearing glasses. It's almost like I'm feeling claustrophobic, like as if there were an actual wall there instead of just my glasses. I thought maybe the issue was that the lenses were grimy, but I cleaned them and it still feels all wrong. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years now, and can't remember ever getting like this from them.
