omnis, should we send in the clowns, or the clowns with the flaming chainsaws?
The clowns are already here. Like Stephen King types of clowns. Driving me mad in various ways. Today is particularly crazy with the holiday. Had to get (2) Purchase order/Check Request thingies (they are in transition, still call them PO's, but they are basically Check Requests) in before end of day, as it seems they only cut checks on Wednesday. And nobody was giving me an invoice. I swear. How many times can I say "we want to pay you, but I need an invoice". and they want to be paid before the holiday, and I say, "then I need the invoice now!". Ugg. Now I have to try an schedule a fed ex pick up in ny for a heavy keyboard.

Looked at a Nook in B&N. Liked the form and the weight and the screen. Hated the feel. It felt sluggish and cheap and buggy.
I was supposed to meet with my advisor today. He told me to email him to remind him. I emailed. He still wasn't there.
Hil, I wish you got a dollar for every time your adviser did that to you. Soon, you will be done with him!
Hil, I commend you on your restraint in not beating this guy to death with a four-ring binder.
My apartment is a ridiculous mess. Like, I don't think there's anywhere that I can take more than two steps without having to step over something. I think I'm going to need to take either tomorrow or Friday to stay home and clean.
Can I give my cat some Benadryl? I think he's being bothered by allergies. I mentioned it to the vet last visit, and he said he'd rather not medicate if it wasn't too bad, but I feel bad for the little guy. He's been unusually quiet tonight, and he keeps, like, starting and then licking himself frantically, just as if he got bitten by something, but there are no bugs on the cat or in the house. He did get outside briefly a couple days ago; maybe he's just allergic to something out in the wild outdoors.
Anyway, yeah. Benadryl for cats, yes/no?
I know it's okay for dogs, but I don't know what the dosage would be for cats.
I know it's okay for them, but not the dosage. And I'd bet it's way, way smaller than the smallest human dose. I'd call your vet, if that is an option. To be sure it's allergies and be sure you have something resembling a safe dosage.
Thanks. I think a call to the vet is in order tomorrow morning. He seems okay, just quiet. He's never quiet until he's worn himself out.
