Although experience tells me petty versions of that happen ALL the time, I'd say the fact that she's so overt about it is pretty much a bad sign. She might really hurt someone. But unfortunately Windsparrow doesn't work at Homeland Security...it might take more than that.
Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Fascinating. So. Um. Why only women do to that job?
I think it's because of two reasons: 1. they wanted the men to be actually on field, and not behind screens and high-tech. 2. for some reason, girls are just better at paying attention to unusual break of patterns in everyday activity.
Is she a sniper??
Nope. I have no idea how to call what she operates. They call it here "see-shoot", if that's any comfort.
WindSparrow, I'm so sorry the Israeli service industry reached to you. I know how bad it can get.
omnis, your day was ridiculous. Part of me want you to file for compensation over unnecessary and potentially harmful activity you had to go through to do your job. Ain't right.

Just got off the phone with her supervisor. He said he would talk to her about what happened with the med error and "dance around" the bit about her inappropriate reaction, and make sure to document this for her file. I have also typed up a description of it and will keep it in a file of my own.
Somehow i doubt the patient (or their family) would be thrilled to know that a care provider is deliberately mistreating them or their loved one out of petty spite.
She did not actually do it, just talked about it. I myself have said some crazy things to let off steam when upset because of getting caught in a mistake. I usually wait until I'm alone or just with Daniel to say them, though. He already knows I'm cracked, everyone else I kinda want to maintain the illusion of sanity around.

You have so much more patience than I have.
My grandmother consulted an astrologer in India, and apparently my chi is blocked or something
Okay, I know how to fix this because I've watched Avatar: The Last Airbender.
First, find a Fire Lord.
Second, engage him a fierce battle while bending the elements.
Third, get randomly bashed up against a pokey rock such that it unlocks your chi.
Bob's your uncle.
In case of a lack of Fire Lord, can you skip straight to step 3?
P-C, this was shared with me recently and was helpful in a difficult time.
You alone can do this, but you don't have to do it alone.
Oh, man, I kinda wish I was still single, just so I could reply "My chi is blocked" with a straight face whenever someone asked me why I wasn't seeing anyone.
You should totally put that in your OKC profile.
(Psst. OKC is how I met my bf, so it's not all bad, yo!)

Nice

Thanks, smonster. I appreciate it. I feel better about the situation now that I'm at least giving it the old college try and trying to find suitable Indian girls on my own.

Heh. She never used the word "chi," but that was the gist of it. "Something" is blocking me. Thursdays are evil, or something. I have to exorcise the Thursdays with this magical amulet.

I know people have had success! And I am certainly more likely to find someone my style on OKCupid than on a generic dating site. It's just disheartening to find someone that you think really ought to like you, except she looks at your profile and doesn't think you're worth responding to.
