'Heart Of Gold'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

askye, a little dab of astringent on the area helps as well.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So I'm taking a break before I dive into repairing my car, again. Exciting adventure again last night.

I will do a write up later, as I will be going to work after I put in an alternator.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I get those ingrowns from time to time. It's like it's been growing and growing and growing for years and magically one day gets close enough to the surface that the immunue system goes into overdrive and tries to kill it ded. Which of course does not work, just gets really uncomfortable and messy, since the nice warm moist climate really makes everything blow up. Keep it as clean as possible for a day or two, and no need to worry about scarring in that location! If it is still hurting in cuple days, might be time to see a dermatologist. Just in case, ya know.

The best prevention for ingrown hairs is exfoliation....but there's some places that just do not cry out for a loofah.

Heh, i'm imaginging lots of mirrors and lamps. Gotta be frustrating to not have good access. I guess DH isn't really into amateur dermatology?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I told him about it, because I am in some pain, but no. He's not looking at that! I would like him to want to have sex with me again at some point.

And anyway, I am much better than he at minor medical stuff. He wouldn't have been able to do what was necessary. It hurt, but I have a pretty high pain threshold and a grossness threshold. I still feel kinda queasy and shaky, though. He about fainted when I took his finger stitches out, so it is on me to be all ARGH PIONEER WOMAN.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So I'm taking a break before I dive into repairing my car, again.

And you thought to yourself, "I wonder what my Bitches are talking about!"

PSA: do NOT google "boil" and then watch the youtube results. I really am on the verge of hurling. And now i'm supposed to go to sleep? Oh HELL no.

eta: and i am not at all sqeamish abount medical (or pseudo-medical) practices. People really need to go to the doctor sometimes. Leave severe MRSA infections to professionals, not yr friend w/ a boat, m'kay?

Heh. The Boy really is a freak. I had a bartholin cyst (just google it), and he happily brought a hand mirror and a headlamp.

No, really.

Also, those things fucking HURT. But they (at least mine) go away within a week or so.

Oh, bah. It's been a month since I've been to the gym (vacation, getting sick, etc.), and they close at 1, so I gotta go now if I'm gonna go.

Maybe I'll put coffee in my water bottle.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Why do I have this compulsion to read all the whitefont? Never mind; that was rhetorical.

I'm curious - do all y'all who have ingrown hair difficulties have straight hair? My hair's curly, and I never get such problems, and I wonder if that's why. I've read that straight hair tangles more easily than curly, so maybe it, like, tangles on itself as it grows? I dunno.
