See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

People who think they don't have the body for burlesque should google my friend's daughter Erin Go Braughless and America's Got Talent.

I agree with DJ. I have some friends here in SoCal who do burlesque. And one thing I really love about it is, ALL body types. Seriously. From waif to curvy. Flat to bosoms-galore! And I think only one has a 'flat stomach'. And all are cheered on. They put on fabulous shows. Geeky and well thought out. which reminds me, I gotta see when they perform next, now that I am back in the area.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just ate a foot long!

(Seemed appropo...and it was delicious.)

Burlesque seems different than stripper, to me. I would have no problem doing burlesque, except for the actual EXERCISE part.

Can I just lounge about in fabulous skimpy costumes, and walk? I have a great walk!

ETA: Nope, o-a -- I'm not LiLo. (I am very full now. Burp.)

Burlesque lounging? I am ALL IN FAVOR of that.

Sure, there are many skits with multiple folks. You'd just have to incorporate your lounging into the skit.

Finally, a task I can do! Let's see...my line up:

Sexy Teacher Corset with Floggers-cum-highlighters.

Lounging On Fainting Couch in Peignoir.

Kitchen Dancing in Sexy Panties and Corset, putting away dishes and making fondue.

Shaking gimlets in a cantilevered bra

Computer Geek Chic, wandering over to bookshelves and such to strip from geeky t, to a geeky tank, to geeky undies. Is there a geek corset? Never mind, I'm sure a buffista has a hook up.

From there on, I will just wander about in silky diaphanous skirts, tinkly ankle jewels and some assorted bra-ery, doing things like sleeping, eating chocolate covered cherries and standing on one leg watching Netflix. (What? my balance is good.)

Where are my backers?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Is there a geek corset?

The vamp willow one; hot for anyone, but extra points for those who get the reference. Or anything with a cover fabric printed with: punctuation, scrabble tiles, binary, space invaders aliens, superhero logos, the Creative Commons licensing symbol...

I was thinking VampWillow as a separate act; I kinda have the look. Except, you know, not skinny.
