Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'd much rather DH watched porn than played golf. At least porn-watching is something we can do together...

Shit's all sorts of different now.

call her and ask how that EXCEEDINGLY REALISTIC promise is working out for her.

What? Not everyone goes home and drops trou whenever their spouse gets an itch?

Also, I wonder if that would work going her way, as well? "Honey? Now." "But we're in church." "Praise God, get nekkid."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I don't care if D. looks at porn. I don't think he does, too terribly much, but it doesn't bother me. I would think it odder if he did not.

There are plenty of things that can cause a rift in a relationship, but honestly, I think housework would come WAY before porn for most people.

Tep, yes, there is a...something, a rock, a site. I have no idea (whitefont for delicacy and respect)if there are any remains buried there, since I do not want to pry, but it is my assumption.

I completely understand the reasoning behind it, but I do find it a touch disconcerting. Esp. since the father is unknown.

I may take this down in a bit.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Are you going to be able to make a visit to see places?

Yeah, I'm going to go look at apartments this weekend.

I like to look at vintage porn sometimes, but porn makes up about 2 hours of my year. Housework, way more. I would happily trade porn for housework! "Half hour of housework for an hour of porn!"

We haven't ever looked at porn together, but honestly, I like erotica better.

brillig

Hubby has seen some of my gay porn and freaks out a little. I try to keep it away from him, because he's delicate. :)

Dealing with the women who don't understand why their guy likes porn is easier than dealing with the women who find it demeaning to women/antithetical to feminism. Granted, some of it is horrible, but some of it is even made by women. But expressing any appreciation for porn make some people go off on "You're a tool of the patriarchy!" rants.

Apparantly, my Pandora is set to "Jilli" - I just got Siouxsie followed by Bowie.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Blaming everything on the patricarchy make you The Tool of the -----archy.

My stance on it is this: there is nothing wrong with porn, per se. Watch it together, alone, whatever. The porn industry is generally problematic in, yes, ways that have to do with the patriarchy/kyriarchy. Objectification of and violence against women, strict adherance to a monolithic beauty standard (even girl-on-girl action being clearly aimed towards a straight white male audience*), etc. And then there's child porn and "barely legal" porn.

I think what I'm saying is that I wouldn't have a problem with my partner watching porn, but there might be certain kinds that I prefer s/he not watch, or at least I might opt out of watching them with her/him.

Timesuck is a whole 'nother thing, as several have pointed out. I can certain see the insecurity that the timesuck being porn might trigger - I think it's understandable even if not justified.
