Happy birthday, sj!
Welcome home, Sean and Pix!
Ooooh, PUPPY!
... yeah, other than that, I got nothin'. I'm doing chores all day. Next up, closet culling.
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should all be jealous, Scola and I just spent an awesome afternoon wandering around his neighborhood and then over to Governor's Island. Now we are both online back at his place.
I am jealous! And if you go to The Chip Shop, I can promise that Pete will be incoherent with envy.
Emmett's hair is now as short as it's been since he was in 2nd grade.
It's the same color and look as Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.
JZ's hair is being coaxed back into a bob.
We've been cleaning all morning, and it's gorgeous outside. But maybe we'll go to our friend's cookout after all.
I just talked to Kristin and apparently Kaylee is an unbelievably sweet and well behaved puppy. Of course our cat Byron has already tried to kill her more than once and must be kept away from the puppy. Seamus apparently has been hiding since Kaylee arrived.
Uggh. My sis does not want to go to Wrightsville, b/c she used to live here and doesn't want to run into anyone, which I totally get. So she's enlisted my help to find us somewhere in Nags Head area. Vrbo is coming up a bust, so I think I'm going to have to start calling rental agencies. Feh.
Also likely means no Teppy and Boy f2f for me.
Happy Birthday SJ!
Oh, I am so loving you. I hate learned helplessness as well.
Me three.
Welcome home, Sean!
Welcome home, little Kaylee!
Oh, I am so furious right now. I asked the DH about why his parents hadn't called about the show--his parents who we spent all of last weekend with and reminded of the date and time and how excited we were--and he said, "Oh, they forgot it was on." I said, oh no, maybe they are waiting to watch it with some other folks. They knew how important this is to you and we were all just talking about it last week. He looked at me and said, Trust me, they forgot. They forgot every play I ever did the whole time I was in theater. I couldn't believe him, and I called them.
They forgot.
DH is sad and furious, not about this, but at the reminder that his parents are such total textbook narcissists.
Scrappy, that is just awful.
Ok, turns out Topsail is a possibility. Hmm.
