Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm having a lovely birthday today. My grandfather made me breakfast, then TCG and I went to a wonderful farmer's market where we bought, cheese, strawberry and champagne sorbet, and some zucchini flowers that my grandfather is going to make along with lobsters for dinner!

And now I am REALLY mean. "I LIKE my room the way it is! WHHHHYYY do I have to clean it?!"

But he is finishing it up.

Keep up the good work, Erin!

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a Kindle or a netbook. Opinions?

What do you need it for? If you have a computer or laptop you like, get the Kindle for dedicated reading.

And I got a "My room looks so much better now! Thank you!"

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Because they're shiny? I have a laptop that I like, but it is a little heavy for me to carry around on a regular basis. I am leaning toward the kindle at this point. My bookshelves are filled up, and I think it would be great for going down the beach for the weekend. I always bring too many book because I can never decide what I am going to be in the mood for.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, sj!

I'm home and tired and attempting to make homemade potato salad. I've never made it before, but as I have a ton—ok, two pounds—of potatoes from my CSA, it seems like a good thing to try.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, sj!

Weekend plans are being made on the fly, y'all.

Yeah, I just discovered an Internet friend I've known for six years but never met is in town this weekend, so we're meeting for lunch tomorrow.

Let me know what you decide for Monday!

Welcome home Sean!!! And Pix!!!

Happy B-day SJ!

Slept in till noon-ish. Was woken by maitenance guy. He *finally* cut the lock on the parking storage cabinet, and emptied previous tenants stuff. So I swept it out and the crap, and brought down the saved boxes. Finally. Kitchen looks better without the big microwave box, and the office looks better without the big printer box. And the storage space might be big enough for me to save the flat screen TV box!!
