It's a real burden being right so often.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

On Wednesday, I told my favorite joke in an Indian accent to a film festival gala opening, to much laughter. Actually, come to think of it, I have "performed" every night this week. Tonight is my day of rest. I'm going to try out TJ's orange chicken and watch Drag Me to Hell.

(One of my future castmates told me was I was awesome in Antigone ! Like, she sincerely thought I was really good. That's new.)

Our wings are not tired.

In any case, this reminded my boss to show us a video of her singing "Brick House" in Orlando.

Hahahahahahhahahaha. Since I know your boss, and can picture this, this is crazy funny. For those of you who don't know her, she is a blond and beautiful Wisconsin farmgirl.

Oh, this is why I made sure to mention it here.

She was really workin' it onstage! She had a full band and backup singers and everything. Some place called Rising Star. It took three Hurricanes to get her up there.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I'm guessing that there are fewer men who are willing to go down on their girlfriends in a theater, than there are women who are willing to go down on their boyfriends in a theater. But I may be out of date with that.
Willing to, sure. But it wouldn't be that discrete. But that might be the NGA talking.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're headed to the beach for my birthday weekend! Have a great weekend, everyone!

So I don't know if you'll be able to see this, but here's a video. If that link doesn't work, you may be able to watch it from my Wall.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

bonny, here's a good place to start, I think. CDC's "Healthy Pets, Healthy People" page. [link] And I'm pretty sure for humans it's a fecal test. Doc hasn't gotten back to me yet. In any case, from what I've read, it isn't an urgent thing. I think hookworms in the intestines are only a big deal if there are a lot, as it can cause anemia.

Something I've wondered - if you reversed the genders of "You Oughta Know," would it still work the same? Or is the song essentially a female complaint?

Hmm. There's a certain feminine venom, I think, but "you said we'd be together forever and then you left" is a pretty common theme. I bet Hec or Jon could come up with an analogue or two.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Ireland approved gay civil partnership yesterday.

Woo! Nice one, Ireland. I thought they'd take a lot longer over that one. (I'm enjoying seeing the slow rise in the number of places where our civil partnership will be recognised. I forget exactly why. It's fun to think we could move to Iceland and be considered married, though! Until we got too cold and came home.)
