Kevlar is HEAVY.
It's either that or armor. He wouldn't need as thick a vest for arrows, unless they're using modern crossbows.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Have a wonderful trip, Sean! Here's hoping you don't need to fend off too many arrows.
Happy Fathers' Day, to them what is, and to them what has, fathers.
I just wondered something. In a same-sex couple, raising child(ren) together, does it make tougher, or just more fun, sneaking around to help the young-uns make or buy cards and gifts for Mother's Day and/or Father's Day in the same time frame as the co-parent?
sooo... anybody want a cat?
Um. Why do you ask Laga?
I have to move in with my sister and my nephew is allergic. She's a truly awesome cat, very playful. Possibly it could be temporary but I'm not sure how long it will be before I can get my own place.
Sean, have a great time, drink lots of wine and eat lots of gelato!
Our Father's Day brunch was a big success. Everyone loved the food. Tired now.
as if to demonstrate how awesomely playful she is, Persey just came running into the room and started stalking a pillow.
Laga, we just put a call into Becca, who's been talking about getting a playmate for her mischievous little Mac kitty. We'll let you know when we hear from her.

I dunno, WS, but that's a good question!
I am still in the honeymoon steparent period. I am utterly charmed -- he's outside playingg car wash with the neighbor kids, and we made and went over a chore chart for his visit (yes, I made one, and bought stickers for it -- I am finding my teacher experience SO helpful, seriously).
Last night, he kissed me good night and said "I love you!" utterly unself-consciously. It was awesome.
