Book: Where's the doctor? Not back yet? Zoe: (beat) We don't make him hurry for the little stuff. He'll be along. Book: He could hurry... a little.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just called my dentist begging for a Vic refill. The side of my head, neck and shoulder feel like someone beat me.

And...they are closed, and didn't call it in. BASTARDS. Owowowow.

Pix and ND, oh no! Heal-ma!

-ma for ND's mom! Poor ND having to run off again so soon after getting home.

I saw my cousin and her cutie sons today. They are visiting from FL. Such cuddly toddlers!

Our wings are not tired.

~ma for ND's mom. {{ND & Pix}}

I am a very needy sick person. I want foot rubs and tea and sympathy noises.

Same here. Alas, none of my crew are big on the nurturing. My sisters and mom are good at it though.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Tons of ~ma to ND mom, and the whole family (includes you too Pix!)

Looks like I'm taking Mom (& maybe Dad) to the Museum of Jurassic Technology tomorrow. I can't wait to see what she (they) think of it.
That place is strange. As a museum lover, I hated it. As a practical joker, I loved it. So I have very mixed feelings about the place.

ION- I passed the test! Woot, soon I will get a visa card issued by the state of CA! Mind you, the state was in fiscal trouble BEFORE I got access, so don't blame me, ok?

That was a really tiring shower. And kind of dizzy-making. I don't think I'm going to move from the couch for a while.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I know that the college where I interviewed last week was interviewing three people for two positions. I also know that the last interview was yesterday. I have been obsessively checking my email all day, but no word yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Medical stuff question: When I got fitted for my ankle brace, they said to make an appointment for a second fitting in about a month. They also said that they would call me when it was ready for me to come in for the second fitting. I made the appointment, which is tomorrow morning. They haven't called me to tell me it's ready. I called twice today and left messages asking whether it was ready, but they didn't call back.

I'm going to call again tomorrow morning before the appointment. If there's still no answer, should I go or not? It's a $20 cab ride each way.
