Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
~ma for ND's mom. {{ND & Pix}}
I am a very needy sick person. I want foot rubs and tea and sympathy noises.
Same here. Alas, none of my crew are big on the nurturing. My sisters and mom are good at it though.
Mom~ma for ND and his momma.
Oh, Pix. Much ~ma to you and ND and his mother.
Dear Universe, STOP PICKING ON ND & PIX. I mean it.
:: backs up Jilli with Dear Universe declaration ::
Tons of ~ma to ND mom, and the whole family (includes you too Pix!)
Looks like I'm taking Mom (& maybe Dad) to the Museum of Jurassic Technology tomorrow. I can't wait to see what she (they) think of it.That place is strange. As a museum lover, I hated it. As a practical joker, I loved it. So I have very mixed feelings about the place.
ION- I passed the test! Woot, soon I will get a visa card issued by the state of CA! Mind you, the state was in fiscal trouble BEFORE I got access, so don't blame me, ok?
That was a really tiring shower. And kind of dizzy-making. I don't think I'm going to move from the couch for a while.
I know that the college where I interviewed last week was interviewing three people for two positions. I also know that the last interview was yesterday. I have been obsessively checking my email all day, but no word yet. Maybe tomorrow.
Medical stuff question: When I got fitted for my ankle brace, they said to make an appointment for a second fitting in about a month. They also said that they would call me when it was ready for me to come in for the second fitting. I made the appointment, which is tomorrow morning. They haven't called me to tell me it's ready. I called twice today and left messages asking whether it was ready, but they didn't call back.
I'm going to call again tomorrow morning before the appointment. If there's still no answer, should I go or not? It's a $20 cab ride each way.
When I am sick, I want to be left alone. House elves should bring me tea, ginger ale, and/or cold OJ without comment. They should quietly pick up the used tissues that are piled up on the table or that have been flung somewhat near the trash can. They should not ask how I'm feeling or if I need anything. I will let them know.
This would be perfect! And to wash the sheets when they get all sweaty and snotty.
~ma to ND and his mom.
The couch stealz the zzz. Grab them, Jilli.
