I heard The Lives of Others was being remade in the US. That makes no sense to me.
That's what I thought I saw on IMDb, but there was no information. That totally makes no sense, indeed. Hell, part of why it was so good was that it was ballsy for a German movie to be that critical. It's not the same if we're the ones making the critique; we didn't live it.
I just saw The Lives of Others. Does that count?
