Stop means no. And no means no. So . . . stop.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

It's cute, Shir!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I like the concept of the shirt, Shir. Is it all one piece, and if so are they two different fabrics? The white part looks wrinkly - but I don't iron, so I don't think that's really a big deal.

OMG, so tired. Just trying to stay awake until I can get home and zonk out for a little, if Frankie will let me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Love the shirt, Shir!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The white part looks wrinkly

It is, but I think it's supposed to be this way. At least it was like that when I bought it.

(Oh, and thanks for the feedback, everyone!)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Shir, I think it's cute.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

We're headed to Mom's beach house for the long weekend this weekend, thank goodness. It should be much cooler there thanks to the ocean breeze.

Since the lows are supposed to dip back into the 40s (at least around my neck of the woods), it sure outta be.

All the better! I do like it, rereading my post that's not very clear.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Shir, it's cute! I wouldn't even call it "fluffy."

THIS is fluffy: [link]

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I like the shirt, too, Shir.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Maycomb was a tired old town, even in 1932 when I first knew it. Somehow, it was hotter then. Men's stiff collars wilted by nine in the morning; ladies bathed before noon, after their 3 o'clock naps, and by nightfall were like soft teacakes with frosting from sweating and sweet talcum.

When I reread To Kill a Mockingbird a few years ago, for the first time as an adult, I realized that those opening lines were still so vivid in my memory that I could almost have quoted them verbatim.

It's been sticky-hot in Nashville too this last week or so. To tell you the truth, I actually don't mind it that much; I've learned to be more or less comfortable with just being sweaty, and it provides a nice incentive to laze around reading and drinking lemonade.

Shir, I think that shirt looks good on you! The style is not a real favorite of mine (I am generally anti-bows on my clothing) but you wear it well.
