A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

You can eat pizza or Chinese out of the boxes and not have to deal with the mess in the kitchen.

No vegan pizza that delivers to my neighborhood.

Hil, would it help if order in and have us make the choices?

I'd still have to deal with the phone and stuff, which would be a bigger hassle.

I just cleaned up a little bit of the kitchen and I've got the dishwasher running. I think that, with a little more rest, I'll be OK for going to 7-11 and getting some frozen burritos or something. Or maybe to the takeout Mexican place, which is about the same distance in the other direction, and getting a much better burrito. The 7-11 clerk tends to want to make small talk, and there's usually someone asking for spare change outside.

Burrito is the right decision.

I just remembered that I told people that I would "probably" have homemade cookies for anyone who came to my practice talk tomorrow. I think I might have to go with "probably doesn't mean definitely." Although I do sometimes find that baking is calming.

Getting actually hungry now. Get dressed first, go get dinner, come home, eat dinner, then figure out cookies. And if all else fails, get a package of Oreos on the way to the office tomorrow morning.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oreos are always acceptable.

Mint is icky.

I have a burrito. It has beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. My officemate would say that it's not a proper burrito, because the beans are black instead of pinto and the rice is white instead of yellow. I don't really care, though I do like yellow rice.

I'll figure out the cookies after I eat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
