Mint is icky.
I have a burrito. It has beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. My officemate would say that it's not a proper burrito, because the beans are black instead of pinto and the rice is white instead of yellow. I don't really care, though I do like yellow rice.
I'll figure out the cookies after I eat.
I think anything tube-shaped in a tortilla is a proper burrito.
Oreos taste burnt to me but I like burnt things. Yesterday I had cinnamon sugar on burnt toast om nom nom.
As a child I'd occasionally eat the creamy center of an Oreo and hide the cookie parts behind the sofa.
One time my sisers scraped all the filling out of an entire package and ate it with spoons. I was quite happy to eat the cookies.
Thunder outside. Do not want.
Oh, I found out that my advisor didn't actually just not show up for our meeting on Friday. He'd called and left a message on the department voice mail, asking the secretary to tell me that he wouldn't be able to make it, but she didn't listen to the voice mail until this morning.
Why don't I believe that?
eta: You can't be the only person whose education this incompetent bastard is completely fucking with. Is there any way you can find out who else he's "advising" and band together to get him dismissed?
Why don't I believe that?
Well, it was the secretary who told me. And this has happened before -- messages left on the department voice mail sometimes aren't delivered for up to a week.
Alright so the voicemail's incompetent too. It's just ridiculous. What percentage of appointments has he actually kept?.. I just remembered you're having a bad day. Feel free to ignore me if talking about this stuff doesn't help.
He's only advising one other person, who is also graduating this year. We've talked about it, but all of the options for doing something seem counterproductive.
How come, no matter how many times I tell my Tivo that I don't get these channels, it keeps adding a Japanese channel and a Christian channel to my lineup? (At least, I think it's a Christian channel. It seems to always be showing TV movies about girls who decide not to have an abortion.)
