I go back to work tomorrow after a 5 month maternity leave. I know I'm WAY fortunate to have had that long, but I'm so sad at leaving my baby without his breasts Mama. He will be in very capable hands (his Mommy's), but it will be the first time I've been away from him for more than 2 hours since he was born. Eff this work thing!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration
I have a thermometer because I without i just think maybe the room is hot even with a high fever. Or I'll think I have the ague for no reason at all. Thermometer keeps me a little saner.
Eff this work thing indeed, Glam! I hope you get to enjoy lots and lots of sweet baby time evenings and weekends and he expends all his grumpiness and whatnot on your lovely wife (not that she deserves it, that just goes with the extra baby time)
