So I watched the FSU- UF game. I knew FSU would lose and they did. Not as badly as I thought, but I think the UF defense got a little sloppy and opened a hole for FSU.
And FSU was the team that was being beaten so badly the other team starts playing their second string. Especially since it's the last game for the seniors.
It's frustrating to watch because it's pass time for Bowden to step down and let some one else coach. I think though he's only got one more season until the "coach in waiting" takes over or the school has to pay him 5 million.
I keep typing couch in waiting.
Wind seems to have died down. Might be time to throe in a load of laundry
So we had an extra pie pumpkin, and needed to use it up, before it went bad. So I made my first pumpkin pie today. Actually, it's a Vanilla Walnut Pumpkin Pie. And it is seriously good.
mmm.... hungry. Matt said he was going to be home for dinner. I wonder what time he thought that would be?
beth, you should make dinner for yourself and see if he appears.
That sounds utterly delicious, WindSparrow.
What amych said, beth.
I just got back from my birthday dinner with my parents. Yum. I got the vegan cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake at Blossom is totally in the "I don't know how they make it, and I don't care, just give me MORE" column for me.
I had soup, thanks for the advice. I think it is now time for pie.
Hello. Funeral was lovely and I'm doing fine. It was good to see all my cousins together again, it had been a long time. I will say this: funerals are weird, yo.
She was buried in Bonaventure Cemetary, which is very old (and was featured in The Book). After we buried Grandma, we went over to the Jewish side and found some relatives' graves. It's a gorgeous place, Bonaventure. Huge oaks dripping with Spanish moss, etc.
There was the traditional food orgy after. Everyone's gone now and we're watching the UGA-Tech game. My mom is complaining b/c it's halftime and they aren't showing the band. You can guess from that how often my fam watches football.
