I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds utterly delicious, WindSparrow.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just got back from my birthday dinner with my parents. Yum. I got the vegan cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake at Blossom is totally in the "I don't know how they make it, and I don't care, just give me MORE" column for me.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hello. Funeral was lovely and I'm doing fine. It was good to see all my cousins together again, it had been a long time. I will say this: funerals are weird, yo.

She was buried in Bonaventure Cemetary, which is very old (and was featured in The Book). After we buried Grandma, we went over to the Jewish side and found some relatives' graves. It's a gorgeous place, Bonaventure. Huge oaks dripping with Spanish moss, etc.

There was the traditional food orgy after. Everyone's gone now and we're watching the UGA-Tech game. My mom is complaining b/c it's halftime and they aren't showing the band. You can guess from that how often my fam watches football.

Yay, Scola hug!

Amych, yep.

At the funeral home, my grandpa was cracking jokes about winking at Pie and her too shy to wink back. Wee cousins were running around, keeping the mood from being too somber. Stoopid preacher kept calling her Marjorie - nobody called her that. Back at the house Grandpa put on Nat King Cole and started crying.

Ahh. Anyway. Enough vignettes. She loved and was loved and she will be missed.

I really appreciate all of your support.

i eta here's a representative pic of the cemetary. [link]

{{{smonster}}} it sounds like she had quite a sendoff, preacher aside. My love to you all.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Stoopid preacher kept calling her Marjorie - nobody called her that.

Stoopid priest called my Aunt Jean "Eugenia" fifteen years ago and its still vivid. For everyone.

The everyone, of course, is the important part. I'm glad you have your everyone.
