Tara: That was funny if you've studied Taglarin mystic rites and... are a total dork... Riley: Then how come Xander didn't laugh?

'Selfless'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I want this t-shirt: [link]

Good luck with the taxes, smonster. And anybody else in the U.S. who has procrastinated.

Coding and Sleeping

Lobs in grenade and leaves.

Men ditch 'nice guy' style, get more dates

Whatever. IME, nice guys do just fine as long as ya got some self-confidence.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I want to go to the beach. When I was in Massachusetts for Passover, we drove along the coast a little, and that was nice, but I really need more beach time. Maybe I can go sit and watch the river this weekend. It's not the same, but I guess it's something.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

And I'm done! Used H&R Block. Refunds for both, yay. And superyay for free e-filing ($10 for state was worth it).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My taxes are done, and await my signature and stamps. I'm sure that procrastinating on this until the last moment will have ensured that something will be needed that I don't have to hand.

I submitted my taxes a few weeks ago and already got my refund. My taxes are really simple, though.

I sent a thank you email for today's phone interview, and the committee head responded by wishing me luck. This doesn't seem like a good sign.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hil, think positive! Of course it is a good sign!

I shall try to think positive.

Considering the number of applications I've sent out and the number of applications that each job has been getting, the odds work out pretty well that I'll get a job somewhere. Just not sure where yet.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Continuing job~ma, Hil.

Off to Nottingham to look for houses. *Again*. This is turning into an almost-weekly thing. The things a disabled prospective grad student has to do in order to move. Meanwhile, England is confusing me:

Me: Does Derbyshire exist? Did I make it up?
The Girl: No. You're going to university in it.
Me: OK, then does Nottinghamshire exist? Did I make that up?
The Girl: No. That's the county council that will be paying for your PCAs.
Me: You're sure Derby isn't in Nottinghamshire and I didn't make Derbyshire up?
The Girl: It's in Derbyshire.
Me: And you're sure Nottingham isn't in Derbyshire and I didn't make Nottinghamshire up?
The Girl: *goes away*
