Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thank you for the ~ma, y'all. She's had Alzheimer's for years and is at the point where she will respond to her name, but can't tell you what it is if you ask her. Plus physical issues.
-Ma for you and yours, smonster.
Good thoughts for your grandma, smonster. And you.
Thinking good thoughts for smonster's grandmother and family.
Re DC, I grew up in Australia's capital. We took a leaf out of your book and gave it its own territory, the Australian Capital Territory (and not a state). I believe the logic was similar, though whereas Washington was chosen to balance North and South, in our case it was a Sydney-Melbourne thing.
Anyway, the point is that the ACT still gets representation. We have two members in the House of Reps and two Senators. The Northern Territory likewise has a Rep and two Senators. (Each state gets twelve Senators.)
ugh, I have to go into the theatre tonight. the only reason I'm doing it is because I like the new guy. If it had been any of the other available house managers, I would not have done it. There is the bonus of going to the grocery store tonight instead of tomorrow, but that means that I won't take my pants to the cleaners without a special trip. Feh.
Much loving ~ma to all the smonster clan, especially your grandma and your stubborn grandpa.
Much love and ma to Smonster's family.
Also thanks to everyone for your well wishes. Today wasn't as bad as I had been dreading work wise.
Healthwise, I've felt tired and low energy and with some pain in my side/lower back on the left side for at least a month. I had a UTI while SLNRLBF was here, and I'm on a second round of antibiotics. This pain I've actually had off and on over the years but it goes away and this time it hasn't.
So today I had ultrasounds down, abdominal and pelvic (the kind with the wand). The ultrasound tech didn't say much, except that my left ovary was futher over than she thought it would be (or words to that effect) and when she moved the wand over to the left it hurt really bad.
I have no idea what's going on. But I'll get the results next week. I'm half worried it will be something serious and half worried I'll be told everything looks fine and I shouldn't be in pain,
Ah, the pain in the ladyparts pain.
I know of what you speak. Hope ultrasound proves useful and healthy-ma your way.
