Yeah, it's not on the screen itself, and the cracks curve away from the screen, so I'm hoping I can tolerate it for two months until I qualify for another subsidized iPhone (and hopefully the new models will be out by then).
FTR, if you can't wait, you can get *just* the iPhone for $200. Which is what I had to do a few weeks ago.

Called my temp agency to check-in. My agent has left. Not shocking. The new one wants me to come in and meet her, not shocking either.
Then she tells me she can't find my old scores and wants me to test. I've been working for them for YEARS. I promise you, I know Word and type 60+. What was supposed to be swing-by-and-meet will be half a fucking day.

Go to the AT&T website, and on the main page that lists your phone and plan, there will be a link to upgrade your phone. The link will tell you if you're eligible yet.

In regard to Men's Studies ... everyone pointing out that feminism has often pointed out that patriarchy is bad for everyone. But these kinds of things are as erica has said (or, less profanely, they're outraged that they aren't the center of the universe any more and they want their toys back). There were news reports a while ago that women now make up more than half the students enrolled in college - which is news because until after my generation a common attitude was that girl's didn't need to go to college.

This has actually been happening for at least 10 years- I *think* women overtook men in attendance in the 90s sometime.
It's easy to think this just recently happened because every year or two there will be some study or general outcry that is all OH NOES TEH BOYZ ARE BEING OVERRUN BY LADEEZ! HOW CAN WE FIX THIS INSANE UNTHINKABLE PROBLEM! And then there'll be studies about how girls in school intimidate boys by... doing their homework or something.
However, you'll note a fairly quick and steep decline in the male-female ratio the higher up the education chain you go.
