Maybe I should reply with "And you should really read Simmel. I got a copy of "The Problems of the Philosophy of History" right here!".
Another approach with promise. Bury them in jargon and conundrums until they are the ones looking around wildly for an escape.
I haven't, Scola, but it sounds like I should!
There is a platypus secret agent. It's much better than it looks at first glance.
"Say aren't you a little young to be using titanium plating and an industrial arc welder?"
"Yes, Yes, I am!"
What is the best way to say, "Sorry I never e-mailed you like I said I would. Not only did I get really busy, but I was simultaneously not that interested in you as a potential future wife AND not interested in talking to potential future wives in general, so I had to distance myself from the process completely. I figured that since you didn't say anything else in two months you already moved on, but I thought I should at least say something so as not to be a dick who said he would e-mail and then never did"?
Phineas and Ferb is made of love and win. Also has great music. And Richard O'Brien voicing dad.
My fave song.
P-C, you were already that dick who said he'd email and didn't--it's been two months. Let it slide. Anything you do now, if you don't actually want to establish communication, is just to make yourself feel better, not her.
I love that Tom watches Phineas and Ferb.
It's a good show, my kids like to watch it, and I'm happy to watch it with them. My daughter has perfected her imitation of Candace's I'm-going-to-bust-them laugh.

Yeah, that was my thinking as well, but when my mom found out, she said that wasn't nice and I agreed to send a close-out e-mail. Except I don't really see the point at this juncture either. It's not like that first girl who never e-mailed me back ever said anything two months later.
Turtle has a hispanic cousin on OKCupid.
Esto no vale la pena.
(Why did I do that, again?)
Well, I guess this part is fun...
