Also, I had to leave so I didn't get a chance to comment on this from Natter the other day:
I did a little cheerleading, but you really pulled yourself out of a dark time and place.
But thanks. It's nice to remember that, and sometimes I don't.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I love that cut on you, Brenda. You're thinking a little longer in back?

Plus: lost weight, cool new haircut, job success.
I got my hair cut yesterday, too! Everyone's feelin' the spring, evidently.
She did a great job, too. I wasn't loving the previous cut I got -- too layer-y in the back, growing out into a mini-mullet -- and she trimmed and shaped it nicely. The front is a deep-side part asymmetrical, bob chop, angling down from the ears to fall at my chin. Very nice.
She also told me to call and schedule bang trims, and she would keep the back even while I'm growing out those layers. Nice! I LIKE YOU, STYLIST MELANIE!

More the opposite. Closer to actual pixie.
I think that would work on you, cause you've got some curls and body. It was a big FAIL on me.
So we did a 10K this afternoon and I am so fucking out of shape I am dying. At least there was free beer at the end. It was the only thing that got me across the finish line.
You finished a 10k AND got free beer? You rock!!
I didn't run the whole 10K. We just got to the 3/4 way mark and I had to turn around. But we don't take it that seriously. I did a lot better last year but I stopped training a few weeks ago.
The beer was good, though.
I need to check my stats on how far we actually ran. I'm sure it was like an elephant running the Kentucky Derby.
A 10K is about 3.7 miles, right? I think I could WALK one.
Well, amble.
