Oh! Can anyone tell me anything about Ft. Myers, Florida? For some reason, I can't find anything helpful online.
My brother lives there and I have parents and a sister within 20 miles. The city has grown at an obscene rate in recent years which lead to a big real estate boom and bust. In general terms the city people migrate to SE Florida while the rural types go to SW Florida. It isn't horrible and there are things to do as well as a good airport. It sure isn't DC or NYC though. I think if you were Florida bound the SE corner has a lot more to offer.
Good luck with the applications! Your efforts despite all the obstacles (glares at adviser) have been most impressive.

It is quite a ways from Niceville.
You know, I thought the Edward dildo was disturbing enough, but then someone had to go and make a felt version of Bella's womb.
Yes, but where do you GET the sparkly dildo? And do you keep it in the freezer?
Wait, are these guys cold? Ah the good old days... cocksicles...
So, I looked up and saw the kitties being cute: [link]
Aw, your orange boy looks so much like my Jeeves!
Those gingers are darling, aren't they?
I'm trying to decide whether to stay in SF for a few days before or after the conference there in January. On the plus side, it'll give me some time to explore SF and see friends there without having to fit it in between and around interviews and talks. And I think I might be able to get a cheaper flight if I leave SF on Monday or Tuesday rather than Saturday. On the minus side, it'll be more hotel nights and restaurant meals to pay for. But I do have enough to cover it, as long as I don't spend anything ridiculous, and I know that I could really use a few days off, and I'm getting a bit stir-crazy from being in DC for so long.
Cute kitties.
Why are plane tickets about $100 more expensive than when I checked a few days ago?
