Willow: That's a work ethic! Buffy, you're developing a work ethic! Buffy: Do they make an ointment for that?

'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would probably still put on pants for the delivery guy.

Does he get less of the tip if you put it on the card? Because I only tip on cards these days.

From my experience delivering pizza, I was just happy to get a tip.

No pants preference?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You might have gotten more tips if you hadn't.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does he get less of the tip if you put it on the card? Because I only tip on cards these days.

Tipping on the card means the tip has to be legally reported as income and taxes are taken out, and frequently means that tips will be pooled and divvied up at the end of the month. Cash means I hand the guy cash and he keeps it.

I'm going to wait for my laundry to dry and then head out.

I just got the sweetest note from my boss who's leaving at the end of the week (when our department is scheduled to be dismantled and sold for parts). Man, I'm going to miss working for her.

(She asked if there was anything she could do to make it easier for me to attend the "Goodbye Department" party on Thursday. It's probably not a good idea for me to respond with "LOTS OF EXTRA BOOZE" while I'm recovering from a hematocrit of 22 after 6 months of teetotaling, right?)

"LOTS OF EXTRA BOOZE AND A STEAK?"

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Laura!

Jessica, that's why I tip in cash, too, even if I pay on a card.
