beth, I am sorry. These little ones, it's so hard to watch them get sicker and not know what to do.
Foster Kitty fell when trying to jump up on my bed last night, and she can't get up on roomie's bed either which is much lower. She's being fed kitten food now to try and get the max calories into her system. Plus, she's reduced her obnoxious meowing dramatically. She's going to the vet Friday, I think. We just got her and she's a PITA, but I love the little cuss.
Poor foster kitty. I hope the vet can come up with some ways to make her more comfortable.
Oh, Jessica. I'm so, so sorry. You and E and D are in my thoughts. I wish there were anything we could do to help you all through this.
Fuck. I'm so sorry, Jessica. Holding you and yours in
my thoughts.
beth, I am so sorry about Andy Cat. I hope some of WindSparrow's suggestions can work.
So sorry, Jess. {{{J & E & D}}}
Best possible outcome for you and Andy, beth.
I have been put in charge of nap time. I think the trick is staying awake in the dark room with lullabys playing.

A trick I have yet to master, three years and change in.

I do this too, but yesterday morning, I had to get up at 5 for work. When it came to bedtime, I was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as it was Ellie's bedtime. I didn't wake up again until 5:30, which is amazing for me. It makes me realize that I would probably sleep better if I stayed up a bit later.
