hip deep in pie

Welcome Sying!

The smell and taste of warm milk, grilled cheese, and garlic: nauseating.

Is the smell of these things nauseating together or separately?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Welcom, Sying.

For the past years my only lasting new TV love has been Bones, which is the Bridget Jones to my Mark Darcy: it's not perfect at all, but I like it very much.

That's a very apt way of putting it, and pretty much how feel...

Just as it is.

though there are a few things I would change if I could.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, welcome Sying!

I'm so happy to see our international contingent is so expansive. And all the lurkers are such interesting people! I know we're talky, but we're so glad you've all decided to come out and play.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, Sying! I agree with you about warm milk and garlic, but grilled cheese is The Best Thing Ever.

Our wings are not tired.

What she said! Hi Sying! This is such a fun thread. I'm hoping the delurking continues all month. Also, I am enjoying learning new things about my old friends as well.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Welcome, Sying!

Sing the grilled cheese love! I had a tomato, avocado grilled cheese sandwich for dinner last night. Mmmmm.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hey, Sying! Welcome to unlurkerville. My brother lives in Den Haag and his wife is Dutch. We try to get over here every couple of years, so maybe I have been in your neck of the woods.

Hi Sying!

it gets scarier, the longer you wait but it also becomes weird to lurk for so long

I hear you there.
