Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, Sying! I agree with you about warm milk and garlic, but grilled cheese is The Best Thing Ever.

Our wings are not tired.

What she said! Hi Sying! This is such a fun thread. I'm hoping the delurking continues all month. Also, I am enjoying learning new things about my old friends as well.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Welcome, Sying!

Sing the grilled cheese love! I had a tomato, avocado grilled cheese sandwich for dinner last night. Mmmmm.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hey, Sying! Welcome to unlurkerville. My brother lives in Den Haag and his wife is Dutch. We try to get over here every couple of years, so maybe I have been in your neck of the woods.

Hi Sying!

it gets scarier, the longer you wait but it also becomes weird to lurk for so long

I hear you there.

information libertarian

Now I am wondering if the "soaps" in Arts and Crafts and Soaps are the sort of soaps one makes oneself as a craft, or soap operas.

Hi, I am flea, and I lurked for a good year at TT, posted at WX. I followed my now-scarce-on-the-ground sister Nutty (she of the infamous cheetah-squash court cage match.) Because I was supposed to be writing my dissertation in Classical archaeology, and success would never do.

Since I started posting I've moved from Western CT to Durham NC to Athens GA, had two children (Casper, 6 and Dillo, 3), almost finished a library degree (this fall!) and dragged my husband kicking and screaming through his PhD program in environmental engineering. I have made Dana and her husband and the NCistas wait an unconscionable time for Indian takeout, and shipped boxes to Puerto Rico. My daughter once made a pass at TomW (she was not yet two at the time.) I like to garden, contemplate home renovations I can't afford, and buy children's clothes and cashmere sweaters on ebay. I am in Natter, Bitches (in a lurky and skippy way), movies, music, literary, and reality TV, where I worship the ground kat p walks on.

I carried a watermelon.

Thank you all for the welcome! So far, delurking? Really not so scary qwhich shouldn't have been a surprise, but there you go. In fact, you're all making me smile.

Now let's see if I get can the quote code right.

Is the smell of these things nauseating together or separately?

Seperately, Sue. I don't even want to know what they smell like together!

though there are a few things I would change if I could.

To be totally honest, me too. I go back and forth on this. What would you like to change? The thing that bothers me most is when they forget about this thing called continuity...

Ha, Zenkitty! I'm glad there's someone who at least agrees with me on the warm milk and garlic. Most people think it's odd.

We try to get over here every couple of years, so maybe I have been in your neck of the woods.

Oh, maybe you have been, Scrappy. The country certainly is nothing compared to the US in size so it's easier to travel around when you're here for a while. I hope you like it. (Also, I love your tag. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my favourite teenmovies.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's soap operas. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the other sort came up, too.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Welcome Sying.
