Hello, fellow-lurker Fern! The Name of the Rose was one of the twenty books I carried around the world with me, and Nick Cave is probably my favourite artist. Mostly I read science fiction though, and in my case Nick Cave is surrounded by, like, Depeche Mode and Blondie and The Smiths (shut up, I will be sixteen forever), but nice intersection anyway!

In particular: thanks Ouise, and you should totally let me know when you're next in Montréal; I'll definitely try to muster up the courage for a coffee or glass of wine.
