ha! apparently even when i use two spaces, it doesn't show up that way on the board, but it was drilled into me and that's what i always do.

as for the muffaletta and cilantro, i'm a picky eater. so no muffaletta for me, thanks. cilantro i can't ever really taste. so...

You can't have my extra spaces.

I have to take them out too, and it's annoying. But I still maintain that two spaces is more readable.

I try to remember to take out my double spaces but I don't always remember. Old habits die hard.

If you use Word, the simplest way is to change the setting in spellcheck.

I had a friendly programmer at my office write a macro for me that removes double spaces from the manuscripts I'm editing. Two keystrokes and they're all gone. I am a big proponent of automating repetitive tasks.

I hate, hate, hate the new feature in the newest version of Word that puts an extra space between paragraphs. You can turn it off but you have to do it in every document, and it's so, so wrong.
