Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Also, Glam, the picture on your blog is absolutely perfect.

Because books.

I'm with Jen in loving the lurkers, and the delurking thread. I love to hear from you guys!

Amy should totally talk about fencing.

That confused me for a minute. I only fenced in high school P.E.! And wow, did those masks smell. But I will leave the fencing talk to fencing!Amy, because she's awesome.

Since I'm here, I'll update! We moved to PA last year, which was awesome, although it was a hard, very stressful year, too. But my lovely guy just got a job, which is a very reassuring and good thing. And my first YA book just came out, and the support for here especially makes me misty at least every other day.

I've said in other threads, and many other times, but this place saved my life, or at least my sanity, more often than I can say. I'm mostly in Supernatural and Natter and Lit and GWW, but I do pop up other threads when I have something to say. And sometimes even when I don't.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Glam, where out of state? Should we start recruiting?
South Carolina, North Carolina, Oregon, Massachusetts are all places we've been tossing about.

Also, Glam, the picture on your blog is absolutely perfect.
Thank you!

And now I'll stop the nattering, I swear!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Glam, I would do a token don’t-leave-LA flail, but it’s been so darn long since we’ve seen each other that I’m going to try to be not!selfish and say I hope you and your lovely family find the right place for you.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

South Carolina, North Carolina, Oregon, Massachusetts are all places we've been tossing about.

I vote Massachusetts! Not that I think I get a vote.

I vote Massachusetts too! In the hopes that I move back there someday. *sniff*

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Glam, the Triangle area of NC has several Buffistas, including me. (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) We have several top notch universities and a nice biotech sector. Go NC! Choose NC!

And my brother and his family live there so I am likely to visit!

I vote Mass as it's pretty much the only place I ever visit!

I'm very much a lurker these days - I pop in every now and then to skim and skim a bit. But! I'm meeting up for dinner with sj and her DH tomorrow, so I don't think my Buffista card can be revoked just yet.

I'm still working for the same company in London, still married to the same chap (5 years next week - hilarious), still have two cats. We moved house a few weeks ago to a much nicer bit of London though, so I'm enjoying that.

I love the delurking thread.
