Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Suzi-

This is weird to say, but my office offers online undergraduate nutrition and anatomy classes- they are the FastTrack classes here and they are not just for nurses... [link]

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

She has found a nutrition class, but I'll send her the info about anatomy. Not weird to pass on the information - isn't that part of what we do here?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Er...8 am is definitely business hours.

I disagree, even in California I wouldn't assume that, but if she called at 7:42 am, she's the one who threw the social rules out the window.

Our sales are up 10-15% this year over last. There are definitely a lot more people interested in going to (or back to) school.

I didn't want to sound like a salesperson!

With regard to school- our 1 year nursing program for people with a BA or BS is crazy full of applicants. Like 200 - 300 applicants for 40 seats. And we literally have no more classrooms or office space for more instructors even if we could accept them all.

Coding and Sleeping

Yikes Erin, I wish you two well. Unfortunately, I don't know anything helpful for that situation.

I'm getting the pig!

Erin, that sounds like a shitty situation. I wish I had an ounce of advice for you.

I fit into MY PROM DRESS. Of 17 years ago!

Very cool! And not shallow.

My boss spilled coffee on her desk two days ago, and she can't stop talking about how mad she is at her self and how could she do that?!?!

Seriously? Two days ago? Dude. Let it go.

Blah. I'm working from home again today. The coughing fits keep turning into wretching fits and that just... sucks. And shouldn't be in the workplace. You know?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Sophia, I've been speculating that the nursing programs are in super high demand (wait list for nursing classes here can be 2 years). And it sounds like you all have found that to be true also, which is interesting. RNs is one of the projected high growth employment areas.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I came into work at 8 today. Motivated in no small part by curiosity to see if New Guy would too.

I still feel like crap on toast and he's not here.

Nicole - Jan 06, 2010 6:34:43 am PST #29531 of 30001
I'm getting the pig!

Quick! Someone track down the boss and send him over to New Guy's (empty) desk!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

At the bookstore, we sell lots of prep books for the nursing school test, more than for any other non-general test.
