Huh. Van Morrison is a father again at age 64.
Natter 64: Yes, we still need you
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
The gun store Hubby prefers stocks pink BB guns. Also green and yellow, for the full co-ordinating experience. From what I know about Utah women, though, they would insist on matching power as the boys' BB guns.
Actually, that may partly be due to the fact that, at least in California, the law allows BB guns as long as they are obviously toys, i.e., in bright colors like pink, purple, etc.
Just in case anyone wants to see what the Underwear Bomber's underwear looks like: Fruit of the Boom
Why, why did I click? Not that gross but I still didn't need to see it.
Who wants to do a physics problem for me?
How much would the tire pressure of my bike drop (in %) when the temperature of the air goes from 70 degrees to 10 degrees?
Crap, I could have done this when I was in high school....
PV=nRT
God, I actually remember something useful!
How much would the tire pressure of my bike drop (in %) when the temperature of the air goes from 70 degrees to 10 degrees?
It's PV=nRT, right?
Who wants to do a physics problem for me?
I do, I do!
PV=nRT
Assuming volume stays constant (which it won't , really, but let's assume it anyway...) P1/T1=nR/V=P2/T2 so P1/294=P2/260 [converting to Kelvin], P2/P1=260/294=0.884
So about 12%
Assuming volume stays constant
Yeah, that's what I was going to do...
So about 12%
Cool! Thanks.
You're welcome! I managed to have to learn that little bit of thermodynamics 3 times in college (4 if you count dive training), so it's always fun to be able to put it to use.
