Because books.

If I can manage it, I think S. and I might sneak out Christmas night to see Sherlock Holmes.

Also, I'm now thinking Bomer/Ackles would be mighty pretty.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm the only one who doesn't see the Ackles appeal, right?

Well, he's cute, but I wouldn't walk past Johnny Depp to get him. The photo of Ackles with his shorts almost falling off is verra nice, but that's true of any reasonably slim and toned man.

When was Pacey on Criminal Minds?

And what the heck does BINAO mean?

I'll have to wait til the weekend to see Sherlock Holmes. I'm annoyed by this.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Age and a wee bit of weathering suits him.

mmm, eye crinkles.

Lucinda Williams even wrote a song about it. [link]

Dourdan is also very pretty.

eta:

When was Pacey on Criminal Minds?

He wasn't--Dawson was.

And what the heck does BINAO mean?

Both is not an option.

Our wings are not tired.

Y'all are very entertaining. And helpful. THANK YOU for the help with what to call the person who carried me. I like "MOT", because it sounds like "BOT" and that pleases me. Some of you might think I am being deeply disrespectful of the MOT. But once you get to know me more, you'll find out that I am actually being very kind. Trust me. (And at first I felt silly asking on a day where a beautiful Shane boy was born; in retrospect it makes perfect sense. Calling MOT a mom is seriously dismissive of all of you real mommies out there.)

Dourdan is (or used to be, anyway) a whole lot of All Right.

Oh, yeah.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bomer still looks too much like Parker Abrams for me.

He totally looks like Sean Maher to me. But I always thought Parker was cute anyway.

When was Pacey on Criminal Minds?

Pacey wasn't--Dawson was.

I'm dragging my sister to Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Day. She's disdainful, because she doesn't like to do her own slashing, but I'm so psyched for the spectacle.

After my burst of energy and laundry prep, someone has their crap sitting in the washing machines. They get until seven, and then I'm yanking it myself.

Meanwhile, pictures of pretty men.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bomer hits my "too pretty" trigger, too, but at least I like the character.

He definitely didn't for me during his Tru Calling, Traveler, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre days, but he started heading that way on Chuck and landed squarely in Young Rob Lowe Land with White Collar. Just in time for me to find out that he's not theoretically impossible to land (just very, very unlikely what with the domestic partner and fame and whatnot). I wish he'd eat a few cheeseburgers and grow some scruff so I could appreciate him on a visceral as well as aesthetic level again.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I want to see Sherlock Holmes on Christmas, but my sister rejected it, and for Christmas, we've got to find a movie that everybody in the family wants to see. We agreed on Up in the Air, and I'll probably see Sherlock Holmes with my dad sometime later in the weekend.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I didn't actually think Bryce Larkin was attractive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wasn't Bryce supposed to be very attractive, though? In the all-that-Chuck-couldn't-be way? Did they just style him wrong, or did Matthew get prettier in his old age?

Yeah, I think so.

Did they just style him wrong, or did Matthew get prettier in his old age?

For me, it's at least mostly because the guy was good-looking, but the character wasn't attractive.
