Man. I've just been reading for five minutes and I already feel so grounded.

OK, I haven't done the WORK I was supposed to do today (um, expense reports? Printing and faxing things? Stuff I can't do once I'm on vacation because I won't have a fax machine or printer, whaaaa?) But I DID, thanks to you guys, just call up my old job's 401K plan (who I had never interacted with at all, before, at ALL, seriously) and asked for them to mail me the rollover stuff, so I can put all the money in the new job's thingie. Go me!
Xmas office gifts are a good thing.
So Cody and Isaac just swung by home on the way to the doctor's office. Isaac was crashed out asleep, with a gift from his preschool (a book) in his lap. Such a sweetheart when he's asleep.
Last night he had a horrible coughing jag, scared us a bit, hence the doctor's visit today. I need to find out if there's any chance it's allergies or asthma.

facepalm
I mean, it's kind of a cute idea. But it ... loses something in the execution.
Adorable 3 year old conversation:
Dillo: I want to blast into space and see the big planets like Saturn.
me: Well, when you are a grownup you can be an astronaut and go into space.
Dillo: I want to go now! With you guys!
me: Well, unfortunately we are not astronauts.
Dillo: But we could dress up as them!
So, Allyson, can you hook a kid up?
Surely can. What size space suit?
I guess we need three - one 3T, one for a 5'11" woman. and one for a 6'6" man. We also need directions to Cape Canaveral.
Huh. When I was three, I wanted to be an astronaut. Or a bus driver.

Cute. Space is just endlessly fascinating to toddlers.
Isaac wanted to take the space shuttle to the moon for a vacation. I warned him that they don't have hotels on the moon, or things like electricity and running water. "We can camp on the moon," he tells me.
