Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bus is almost here - time to go....

Art Crawl!!!

Just yesterday I received a sock kit in the mail and it came with a beautiful stitch marker - you know, the kind that looks like a complicated earring? Today: I've already lost the marker.

I'm not very far into it yet, but I would be happy for every character to be killed, so I hope that bodes well.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I did laugh out loud while reading American Psycho on the subway, but I tried to hide the cover.

I was on the bus, but yeah, same reaction. Except that I didn't bother trying to hide the cover.

Legend is a gorgeous movie. Just ... don't have the sound on.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How faithful is the movie American Psycho to the book?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I read the book years after seeing the movie, but I think the book is ultimately more horrifying.

Mostly faithful, but some of the ... squickier portions of the book were not kept. Thank goodness.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I think American Psycho is hands down the most disturbing thing I've ever read.
