Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In my sweetener-avoidant experience, less sugar means more artificial sweetener and unsweetened is the only thing you can rely on for reduced sweetness.

You should have showed up with a jar of peanut butter and a spoon.

I want to bet she doesn't like PJ. She makes less sense than when I was vegan. At least I was consistent for the first three months. Then I started incorporating a steak a week.

I have no idea how she's expecting to eat when she's here. Dairy is my main non-meat protein. Ah, well. That's why one of the first things I do with family when they show up is go grocery shopping. Their ways are obscure to me, some more than others.

I don't think my mother has ever not sent food. She will often travel with one suitcase full of it, although she has trouble convincing father and sister to go to her lengths.

Headache woke me up this morning. Today is going to be long. I also keep leaving the last letter off of my words. Today is all document preparation, so it's going to be even longer.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That's one of the reasons that I can't go vegetarian -- it's much harder to incorporate enough protein if you can't do the Moo.

Even I have a limit to the amount of pork I eat, which is her only mammal. Probably because I don't cook it with a great deal of variation--I'm mostly in it for the piggy taste, so I don't do a lot of seasoning, just grill it with a little pepper, or maybe stuff a thick pork chop with some lightly spiced filling.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've tried keeping track of everything I ate on that website that calculates all the nutritional values (fitday? Something like that?) for a week or so, just to see what I was getting and not getting, and I got at least 90% or so of the RDA of protein each day, and several days I went over 100%.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today's groupon is for this place [link]

I have to admit, I am intrigued, even though I can't see myself spending that much on jeans, even with the groupon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In my sweetener-avoidant experience, less sugar means more artificial sweetener and unsweetened is the only thing you can rely on for reduced sweetness.

Yeah, I always forget. Stupid American sweet-tooth.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why does orange juice taste so nummy for breakfast? I swear I could chug glasses of the the stuff, whereas during other parts of the day, OJ is just OK. I wonder if my body craves the sugar in OJ when I wake up....
