What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In my sweetener-avoidant experience, less sugar means more artificial sweetener and unsweetened is the only thing you can rely on for reduced sweetness.

Yeah, I always forget. Stupid American sweet-tooth.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why does orange juice taste so nummy for breakfast? I swear I could chug glasses of the the stuff, whereas during other parts of the day, OJ is just OK. I wonder if my body craves the sugar in OJ when I wake up....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bah. I always crave the OJ, but my stomach doesn't handle it anymore. I actually had to throw fresh-squeezed out yesterday after my sister couldn't take it through the security checkpoint. Crime.

Punishingly Intricate

I used to love oj but it tastes too sweet to me now. I'm all about the pink grapefruit juice though!

My teeth itch. Or hurt. I can't really tell which, but by god, it is distracting.

Bad news for Jesse: [link]

A new Canadian study has found that people who get hugs regularly are more likely to report better mental health. A warm embrace, in fact, had a more significant connection to an uplifting frame of mind than attending church regularly.
