'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I spent over 3 hours with epic support calls to TiVo last night, and they still haven't fixed my subscription problem. The problem is totally on their end, we concluded, so an Account Specialist is supposed to get back to me today.

This is because I weakened and since I was renewing my prepaid year's subscription, I decided to get a nice shiny NEW HD TiVo to replace my S1 from 2000. And they were supposed to give me a 2mo courtesy subscription for my old, soon-to-be discarded TiVo while the new one is being shipped and so on. Instead, all the sub functions, like program guide and recording shows has stopped on the old one.

I know this is totally a first-world problem, but I'm upset. Feh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why on earth did I wake up with "Toy Soldiers" by Martika in my head?

I need to be doing laundry.

That's a legit problem, Theo! If, yes, first world. But still!

And Loki tried to kill the tp again.

It was looking shifty.

Insomnia is No Good Very Bad. It didn't visit us tonight. But it was a close call.

I have culled clothes ugh. Least favorite thing ever.

It occurred to me the other day that it's much easier to cull books than it is clothes for me! Because there's always the library if I absolutely positively have to read a book again, but there are no Clothes Libraries out there.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Concert last night (pair of folkies from Seattle who mostly do sea songs) was good. One of them mentioned, in passing, being a BtVS fan.

Rennaisance faire today.

A Clothes Library would be simultaneously awesome and awful at least conceptually.

I'm trying to strictly give myself the year rule -- if I haven't worn it in a year, I won't, so it needs to go. DAMN it's hard.
