Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Thank you!

I am looking at apartments (online) in central Balto. I would LOVE to live in a city proper again. I'm pretty sure. Some of the apartments look awesome... and spendy! But there are less spendy ones, too.

Of course, I have to run these things by the Baltimoreistas. Thoughts on city proper? I don't have a sense of where you guys live in relation to the city. Yes, even though I've been to lisah's - I have an epically bad sense of relational geography (I think I just made that up, but it makes sense to me).

ETA:

You can usually get sliced liverwurst in the deli section. Or tube o'liverwurst in the section with the prepackaged lunchmeats.

I was sad that the deli was closed, because I figured I could get it there, but I know I've seen the tube-o-wurst before, and I was just so sure it would be there that my disappointment was maybe a little disproportionate. Maybe.

Give us some addresses/names/links! On google maps, lisah's in Hampden, and I'm Ednor Gardens. Clustered around the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus & the Charles Village areas. North of downtown by a handful of miles (I can see downtown from the end of my street.)

I ask for addresses, because this city is anything but homogenous and varies so much block to block.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, apparently I can only get Comcast for cable, and it's going to be more expensive than here! WTF? I swear to god.

Oh, that helps, thank you. I'ma go look at google maps and see where I'm looking in relation to where you guys are. Links to come! Possibly not tonight, because, wow, am I tired.

My awesome roommate just gave me a birthday cupcake. She rules.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's even in liverwurst? I've never been able to bring myself to try it. But I think it belongs to a genre of meat I do not like.

Yeah, I get that feeling about Baltimore and the block-to-block differences, which is why I'm so very glad to have you guys for help.

We'll do our best!

There's one called Chesapeake Commons at 601 N. Eutaw St. The google map link won't go directly to it, though. Eastof MKL Jr Blvd., north of W Franklin St.

ETA: I've e-mailed/heard back from this one. They seem pleasant and helpful, though are quick to point out how quickly their apts. go, which may or may not be an exaggeration but can't fault them for saying so.

Woo, you are talking truly downtown. I'd have to drive it. Near the monument.
