when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

re: Weaver, I guess my love for Coulson may have colored my annoyance at her arguing with him. But at the same time, he was elected Director, lady. He's your boss. I doubt she was that disrespectful to Fury, and apparently she didn't think Fury was fit to be Director. (I know she doesn't respect Coulson either, but since she was all about electing the director...)

(although now that I think of it, I bet most of the fake!SHIELD people didn't have a problem with Fury until Hydra took over, and then maybe they decided to blame Fury so they didn't have to think too hard about why they themselves missed all the Hydra infiltrators.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

JFC WTF HSQ.

That was a whole lot of stops to pull out.

I think Cal knew. Coulson discussed a mindwipe with him before, didn't he? And Cal looked like he knew that even if she came to see him, he wouldn't know it. I wasn't really digging him this whole season but I have to say I loved the reversals and his delivery of "With STYLE" was everything that is awesome.

Raise your hand if it's not completely implausible that Tyra Collette grew up to be Bobbie Morse?

I'm going to have to watch that again.

I think Cal knew

Yeah, I think he agreed to it, a chance to get all that madness out of his head.

I went wandering through Tumblr looking for Wardies to silently mock. I discovered Coulson/Skye shippers.

What? "That's not how a father looks at a daughter! He even said 'She's not my daughter,' he could have said 'I think of her as a daughter'!"

Honey, I fully understand that he's hot and yummy, but leave the Coulson for the people who were born in the same century he was (or the same decade, ahem).

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, Coulson/Skye is just wrong.

Honestly, I wish they had stuck with what they seemed to be setting up in the pilot with Fitz/Skye.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wish they'd had the stones to go with Fitz/Mack, which then would have allowed him to shut Jemma down this week with "I've moved on."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not if it got Mack sucked into the stone-that-is-waves. Otherwise, yeah, that would have been amazing.

Fitz/Mack would have been fun, too.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I wish they'd had the stones to go with Fitz/Mack, which then would have allowed him to shut Jemma down this week with "I've moved on."

I kind of thought that when Jemma picked the worst possible time to say "You know, we never talked about what you said at the bottom of the ocean," that Fitz would say, "Yeah, after all this time, I don't feel that way anymore." I *really* hoped he would. (Fitz/Mack would have been the icing on the cake.)

Yeah, a year later is a bit long. But I kind of like the Wesley-lite Fitz and the more ruthless Jemma. Such fluffy bunnies when we met them.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I could have done with a little less of the "OMG you/I might die I just realized I lurve you!" thing. Bobbie/Hunter, Fitz/Gemma, and sort of May/Andrew.

We don't know what Bobbie has decided, right? Her "I can't do this anymore" read ambivalently to me; did she mean SHIELD or her on again/off again with Hunter?
