Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I am finding James D'Arcy scrumptious through and through. All those immaculate three piece suits and prim exterior! You want to mess him up a bit. The backstory they gave him and his wife in this last episode gave his character a lot of weight. And the long look he exchanged with Peggy before he was let go from the SSR Headquarter! Oh my.

The look on his face when they brought up his service and he knew where they were going--chills, man. Like he could silently shiv you and still serve an impeccable tea.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

All those immaculate three piece suits and prim exterior! You want to mess him up a bit.

Like I said last week, getting very strong Wesley vibes there, and I like them. A LOT.

I am still really bothered by a waitress at the nom-automated Automat. I am confused

It's a hybrid. Automat for the modern, waitress staff for the reactionary.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Anybody else think that the killer at the end was a woman? Something about the size of the figure and the way it moved.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Well, as soon as Dottie (the new resident at the Lady Apartment) was introduced, I assumed she was a baddie. Or we're supposed to think that. Why else take the time to introduce a new character in an 8-episode arc?

OTOH, I'm paranoid enough that I worry that Angie is a secret villain, too.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I have to agree about Peggy coming across as quite naive. It makes me wonder how much of the writing may be geared towards people who don't have a Captain America background and the only thing they really know of Peggy's history is the flashbacks in the first episode. For them, this might be character development, whereas we know what a BAMF she is from prior experience.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I am still really bothered by a waitress at the nom-automated Automat. I am confused

The couple of times I went to an automat, in NY in the 70's, there was also a cafeteria line for things that didn't really work in automat format (hot food). Still no waitresses, but maybe they were used in place of the cafeteria line in some restaurants.
